- CT (computed tomography) — advanced X-ray technology that captures cross-sectional images of the body, including the abdomen, chest and pelvis, which can be useful to identify tumors
- MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) — magnetic fields and radio waves generate digital images to take a closer look at nerves and tendons, as well as soft tissue in the brain, muscles and organs
- Ultrasound— also called a sonogram, a diagnostic tool that uses sound waves to show damage or disease to tissue and organs and is commonly used to produce real-time images of a fetus during pregnancy
- X-ray and fluoroscopy — black and white images generated via electromagnetic waves which can reveal broken bones and other abnormalities
- Pediatric imaging — age-specific imaging for children and adolescents that follows the "image gently" guidelines of reducing radiation doses when possible
